Have you ever read or listened or sung something so many times that the meaning has become lost? You've encountered the material in the same way so many times that it becomes rote. It no longer impacts, no matter how powerful it should be. ADORE is an album of some of the song prayers sung and played on piano improvisationally on Thursdays at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church from 2008 through 2014. The final three years, we had the extreme privilege of having the Blessed Sacramento before us as we adored in song, words and via dance. These particular songs are based on some of the liturgical prayers of the Catholic Mass. But they are NOT liturgical. The words have been slightly changed. Not to dishonor, but honor. To awaken souls which pray them back to the depth and beauty of what is prayed in the Masses.
