Midday on Thursdays from 11/13/2008 until my thyroid cancer surgery Summer 2014, I sat at the piano in the St. Joan of Arc Sanctuary playing improvisationally and offered song prayers to our God. I am not a fine pianist. But I am a worshipper. I am one who believes in and actuates paying homage to God.  He is ever-present with us through the Holy spirit even as He sits on His heavenly throne.  So...this magnificent God is on earth as in heaven and wants to usher in His way of life here--also, on earth as in heaven. When we turn to Him and contemplate Him while adoring, He comes and changes us from the inside outward and people are helped by His Spirit working through us. And so on Thursdays, a few of us gathered in the sanctuary to offer Him praise and invite Him to come into our midst and do His work on earth as in heaven now. These are some of the song prayers with which we sought to encounter Him.
